At The Little Homestead, we believe true growth goes beyond academics and activities. Our Faith & Character Development program is designed to nurture a strong foundation of values, purpose, and integrity in every child.
Through daily Bible studies, prayer, and intentional guidance, children are encouraged to grow in kindness, discipline, and faith. As a special part of their journey, each child receives an Action Bible.
For older kids we dive deep into history and bring the bible pages alive through archaeology, geography and historical record.
Bible History: Archaeology, Geology & Historical Records
Step back in time and explore the fascinating world of ancient civilizations, biblical history, and remarkable discoveries that continue to shape our understanding of the past.
Using age-appropriate educational materials, students investigate real archaeological discoveries, geological formations, and historical records that provide insight into the world of the Bible. As students mature, they may examine famous discoveries such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, ancient inscriptions, artifacts, and archaeological excavations that illuminate the cultures, people, and events described in biblical history.
Through hands-on activities, maps, timelines, replicas, and engaging discussions, students become history detectives—learning how archaeologists, geologists, and historians piece together evidence to better understand the ancient world. This exciting journey encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the rich history that is often only briefly covered in traditional classrooms.
